The consistent seam quality and thread
trimming performance of the EC-10A Series has already
been well proven over years of operation. The EC-10B is
an upgrade of the EC-10A which incorporates further
improved functions to enable the use of a control panel
for high-end models. If mounted with a control panel
(CP-160, optionally available), the EC-10B Series
offers, in addition to its standard basic functions, a
sophisticated array of upgraded functions to enable use
for wider applications such as multilayer sewing,
constant-dimension sewing, and rectangle pattern sewing,
as well as the use of a bobbin thread

The EC-10B enables the sewing machine to perform
thread trimming, stop with its needle up/down, perform
automatic reverse feed stitching at sewing start and
sewing end, and perform one-touch reverse feed stitching
with a switch. Needless to say, the number of reverse
feed stitches can be specified. |

A contactless electromagnetic coupling is adopted.
This means that the clutch disc does not require any
maintenance. Furthermore, cooling efficiency is
enhanced, there by preventing the motor from running at
very hot temperatures. |

In addition to the EC-10B's error-identification and
signal input/output checking modes, the machine features
a new resistor pack system for identification of sewing
machine used for improved maintainability. |
